HOW TALIA JOY’S PET WALK CAME ABOUT
TALIA JOY’S PET WALK was a dream of Talia Joy Castellano. She felt a strong connection with the animals she loved. Talia knew all too well how much love and companionship pets give to a person during times of crisis. Talia was diagnosed with cancer at the age of seven. Talia would visit the Puppy Stop as often as she could after her appointments at the oncology clinic. She was blessed with a beautiful toy poodle that was given to her from The Puppy Stop. She named her Bella . Bella was a constant companion for Talia. Bella remained by Talia’s side and comforted her in the hospital through out her life. Talia was visited by so many furry friends during her inpatient and outpatient treatments. Talia’s Legacy wants to support the furry friends that supported her along her journey.
Please come out to support the children and childhood cancer awareness. There will be ribbons honoring both children and pets that have received cancer treatment. A portion of the proceeds will support the pet therapy program at Arnold Palmer. The pet therapy program gives the children the love and emotional support during their time of need. Come out and bring the entire family.. especially your furriest family members. Walk with us… Support the PAWS with a cause.
